First Post
First things first, here's some background.......I fell into the food service industry about 8 years ago while in college studying politics. If you would have told me at a young age that I would ever be a waitress at any point in my life I would have laughed at you. I somehow thought I was "above" that, as I believe many people do. Now, I love my industry, though at times it can be incredibly frustrating. I have managed a few very successful restaurants in California and a few over in Australia. My job gives me freedom, power, cash and access to many interesting people. My love of this industry goes beyond the decent money you can make in short hours and the flexibility it gives me as being a manager. The thing I love most and is the most basic, fundamental building block of any restaurant: food. And that's where we'll begin, and end.
